Topic: Major Update!! Riskadh (D-10) and San Jose NCL!! (Image Heavy)

Been a long time since I lanched a couple of ships.  First up I have the San Jose Class NCL,  I have been working on this ship for a little and just finished her up this afternoon.  Here are the pics and you can get her at my site.  I completely redesigned my site, so if you can't access it, be patient.

Also on the break mod of the NCL, I noticed when I took the snapshot that both warp engines stayed together.  I have corrected this problem.  I kept the old snapshot since I have been working on this site for quite awhile and didn't want to correct it.

For those of you who haven't downloaded this ship yet, this problem has been corrected and uploaded in a brand new zip file.

Next up is the Riskadh Class, also called the D-10.  This ship was done by The Vampire Lestat .  TVL emailed this ship quite awhile ago, and I forgot all about it.  I did some modifying to mesh.  There are three versions the D-10, D-10K, and the D-10H.  All three are included in one zip.  Here are the pics and you can get it at my site

Almost forgot, I also added the TOS Larson and Loknar to my site.  Those ships needed an update desperately.  Many thanks to Wolfsglen and Atheorhaven for their work on these models.

Thanks guys, The D-10 I can't take credit for, TVL did that one.  All I did was clean up the mesh a little bit, take some snapshots and upload it.  The other one I started playing around with after the momentum picked for the Chicago, a couple weeks ago.  I have always wanted to name a ship after my hometown, and the NCL seemed like a perfect fit.  OH and by the way,  GO SHARKS!!!!!

Question... what changes were made to the standard D10? I see some variants but not talking about those.

Lo dudes, sorry you didn't like the second or third D10 as those are the ones I did, the first one is the stock by Atrahasis which Rogue cleaned up, the second has the boom from the C7 (extra space for marines in those flanges on the neck) while the third has the C7 boom, C7 wraparound disruptors, the command section from the C5 with twin torp launchers and a third nacelle from the C5, the idea for the third one was a wireframe image I saw on Atra's site of a ship roughly like this being compared with Atra's other Klingons form the time, the D5, D7, C7 and C5.


The San Jose looks pretty cool actually, though I'm not too keen on the SFB NCL it looks better in TMP form. I had an idea to make an NCL shaped ship from Lexington parts but there're no good pieces for the rear hull.
Hmm, name a ship after hometown, right - off to M6!

That's probably the best F-NCL of the current crop, as it shouldn't have the secondary hull like the F-NCA. I like it a whole lot.

The C5 command section and C7 boom look great on the D10, as well. I think that the extra angles added fit the delta shape of the rear hull.

Just DL'ed and looked at the San Jose in the mod viewer. Good job, man. The textures are great.

One prob though (sorry ). There are some missing polies on the outside of the warp pylons where the nacelles attach.

Glad everyone likes the ships.  I didn't go into the background of the D-10 because I do that on my website..  Mind you, it's not canon info, but I think it's a believable explanation.  About the missing polies, I'll fix that tonight after I get off work.  What I'll do is fix the current zip, and then have just the mod files to be downloaded as well.  

Well I gotta get to work, I'll see you guys later.

I am still looking for somebody to take a D-10B by Atrahasis and add just Atra's C-7 neck boom (keeping the D-10B head naturally) and TWO C-7 warp engines to it. The Version with Atra's C-5 head is the closest to what I want but its kind of overkill IMHO.
