I can't remember the exact name of the mission in the Klingion campaign, but it's the mission where U start off by going to Unity Station and transporting the Ambassdor aboard the station and U RE told to check out something, I don't where to go to check this and wondering could someone out with this mission? I was also wondering when U RE in the Federation campaigh where U get where U RE fighting the Romulan starbase, I was wondering what type of armour, weapons, shields and etc. would be best for that part?

I am not sure about the Klingon if you knewthe name of it or ask Nannaer Slug in D3 or in mission scriting forum.I would stick to the shields,armour that ship comes with and the weapons are your choice it depends on how much PP you have and what ship you are using.I think I remember that mission it is a disturbace in the astriod belt which there is a Romulan ship hanging around you just go out there to see what they want that is all I believe.It has been a while since I played that and I did the hole Klingon campaign in two hrs.It really made me kind of nervous I did 4 times with no success.I just had to upgrade my ships and use PPs I like saving my PPs(prestige points)I hope this helps you may want to do the Klink camp. over agian though.

Are you playing the beta patched version, I remember there was a bug in that mission (and a few others) that kept it from calling the romulan ship or something

and as Age said the rom ship should be in the small asteriod group in the corner of the map.

I would download and install the beta patch, if you haven't already.

As for ships and equipment, have a look at the fed loadouts at http://www.battleclinic.com/?area=sfc&sa=loadout&action=view&race=1 for some ideas.

Fly fast, stay low, hit hard....oh, whoops. Sorry, I can't help you. Buuuuut....reinforcing sheilds, charging up EPS and keeping your distance would help. Just keep at it, I suppose.

Right, I'm on the Klingion MIssions called Anvil of Peace as U have gathered already, I have delivered the ambassador to the starbase and they say that there's a disturbance somewhere near the asteroids and I have to go and check it out, could someone tell me I have to go to get into the asteriods? My verions doesn't have the beta patch just in case if U RE wondering!!!!

Then download and install the patches... that will fix several of the mission script bugs..

Now in the mission you are in.. after talking to Piccard.. and talking to the captain of the small ship.. then after being told you can deliver the ambassidor, after you transport the ambassador, you will be told to investigate a disturbance.. look at your shield facing.. it should have a white pointer on which direction to travel...

that is only 1/2 the mission.. so keep at it.

There are 2 versions of the v531

there is a v531 for us / uk

and there is a v531 for German

You will need a Clean install of SFC 3.. which means using widows control panel and using Add / Remove programs and uninstall SFC3 there..

then deleting the SFC 3 game folder

then reinstalling SFC 3.. only the game.. say no to Direct x 8.1 and say no to Gamespy Arcade...

DL and install only the v500 SFC 3 patch

then dl and install only the v531 SFC 3 patch

right click on your desktop shortcut and click properties.

click on the compatibility tab and look for "Disable Visual Themes"

make sure there is a check in the box next to it then click OK.

Make sure your video drivers are up to date.. such as if you have an NVidia video card, go to NVidia's web site and get the Drivers.. if you oen a Radeon card, go to AIT's site and get the ATI Catalist drivers.

and just as a precautionary method.. re-download Direct x 9.0b and let it install.. restart system when done..

then try SFC 3..

for those that are still having issues after doing this, go to your start button, click RUN

type in MSCONFIG

click on and a window properties box will pop up.

click the properties tab and uncheck any mouse software that is there and uncheck any software that your system absolutely does not need when it starts up.
