And all I know about wild turkeys is they taste very differant than store bought turkeys  And today I guess they restocked a bunch of local lakes and ponds to go catfishing in. I havent been fishing in a long time. Dont really have the time anymore. But I still have the very first fishing rod I got.

Actually, I'm not sure we can even Hunt Turkeys Here in Oklahoma Anymore. I need to check on that. But I would go fishing anywhere anytime.

You can. But you cannot shoot jakes; only jennies. There are several sesons for most game, blackpowder, bow, and regular modern weapons. I'm not sure about turkeys having three seasons but I know there is at least one. I ran into a flock of about thirty jennies on one of my trips to Lawton for VA medical processing. I once chasesd a group of them in texas as well. They stayed on the ground for hundreds of meters but upon nearing trees took to the sky to get into the woods. teases!

The more I think about this post the more hungry im getting for catfish. Good catfish, not the crap they sell at Red Lobster.

But of course with catfish Ill have to have coleslaw and hush puppies or onion rings or tater tots. lots of tartar sause as well.

Looks like I may have to get a fishing license this year and new fishing gear and go fishing.
