That's a pretty cool looking design. I'm not a big fan of "roll bars" and weapon pods, personally. I think that it'd look better without it, but that's not to say that it doesn't look good. Maybe it could be made so it'd be easily removed? If the author wouldn't mind and it wouldn't be to difficult of a task.

I think that's a pretty neat idea. The evolution of this should be interesting watch.

Hey, I was just thinking about making this model myself!

Anyway, for those of you who are not familiar with this design, this is the original concept for the Vulcan transport T'pau from Unification, Part 2 [TNG].

I like the concept better than the final product, but that's probably because it look for like a Federation design, an alternate take on the Miranda in my eyes.

Actually it more resembles a backwards Sabre class than a Miranda, I even posted comparitive shots of the two on a different forum before to compare the similaritites

I've got one of those, but I've butchered the file and textures on it so much that in the process I lost the accompanying readme so I  dont know who it originally belonged to.   I was attempting to overhaul it, which is a bit outside of my expertise, but easily doable by someone with more texturing experience....

Actually this was one of Rick Sternbach's concept designs for the USS Voyager - not the T'pau.
I'm adding more details to this and will start texturing soon but I have other stuff on the go too - including the heavily overlooked Kazon Raider:

As well as these the Zahl warship is complete (Nif format) with the Mawasi & Devore warship on the way - DarkMatrix will be porting these to SFC as I've given him exclusive rights to port my models from now on.

Hmm, well, i see what you are saying, after reviewing yours pics and the Sternbach sketches I have, there is slight difference, like rollbar and extended "nose". However, it is rather evident that ship had to have started out as the Tpau concept for Unification. Here is an example of what I mean:  http://flareupload.pleh.net/uploads/968/Tpau.jpg

And I've seen a couple Kazon ships out there actaully.  Hmm, I was curious, what about the Kazon shuttle? And, hey, when are the Hirogen coming?!

Yeah I can see the similarities - obviously Rick used the design and took it futher for Voyager.
BTW - as another modder (ASDB_J) is already modding a ship called USS Spitfire, it's been re-christened as the USS Deuteros - but the class name will remain as  Pioneer-class - a tip of the hat to Voyager.

The rollbar exists as a separate element and may be removed as desired - however you would have to 'cap' the areas where it sits on the main hull as I always delete hidden faces on my models. With that in mind I may release a non rollbar variant.

I noticed some peeps were asking what ships will be next. I made a preliminary list of projects which you can see here:
http://www.queball3dmeshes.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/projects.html

However, this list is subject to change as another modder - Gtea - is helping with the alien ships from trek.

PS, thx for the buuuuuump, SF!

Okay, what is the difference?

Dominion bugship
Dominion Destroyer
Dominion Battlecruiser
Dominion Warship
Dominion Battleship
Dominion Dreadnaught

There were only (moreless) 3 intended designs made during DS9.  The bugship, the battlecruiser (& the 'V-type' battlecruiser) and the battleship, are all the rest your own concepts oooor what exactly?

For that matter, to save you (Queball) some time, I can convert them over to SFC for you without the need of acknowledging me doing so (seeing as I do that already for myself when you release them for BC).
