My family and I went to see it in the theaters when it first opened because it had two things that the women in my house like.  Viggo Mortenson and Horses.  It was a decent movie.

Supposedly based on fact.  However, the historical fact checkers have a few flaws with the story.  Not having read any books etc about it, I can't be certain how closely the movie matches the written word.  The discrepancies could be more because of the poetic license the author took when writing his life story.

Speaking of life stories with Poetic License.  "Big Fish" is an awesome movie.

I loved it but wish they had taken a bit more time on the choice of horses. For those of us that know what we are looking at it was a bummer to see them choose horses that, while being ABSOLUTLY gorgeous and talented, they were not the right breed.

It was such an enjoyable move that I can over look that though.

Went to go see that last weekend.

The GF loved it, I had a hard time staying awake.  Guess I'm just not a "horse person".
