Im a big Ambassador fan, but thats one sweet ship you've got there!

Whats her class name? Is it still Apollo?

If none has been set, may I recommend dubbing her the "Fearless" class; it seems to suit this ship down to the ground

Ya can call her any class name you wish hehe, i didnt call her Apollo Class as she has some differences, so i figured she could be a sub-type of some kind.

Fearless Class sounds great though   ANd thank you for the kind words.

I have no idea to be honest, it was in a zip with no credits or .text files at all, i have looked around all the model sites in my bookmarks but didnt find any with any details, just the zip

the original had a weapons pod then? cuz this looks to have slightly different pylons than the warspite.

Yes it had a round pod (from the Phoenix Nebula variant i think) with 2 pylons connecting to the hull, which was a seperate part of the model, so looks like someone tried to 'bash it on before me. All i did was stretch and beef the center part of the pod so it looked thicker and use the single boom (already connected to the model) instead of the 2 struts to connect the pod to the hull.

Did some other lil bits around the hull and with the warp nacelle pylons, but that was basically it after a few hardpoint tweaks.

It wasnt perfect, but looks ok in-game (for a quickie hehe)

The ship part is the Warspite

The sensor pod seems to be a slightly altered version of the sensor pod on Knox's USS Phenoix

Whoever sent you that model did not intend for it to be released publicly

Why did you make it available for public download without the permission of anyone even the unidentified person who sent you the kitbash?

If Knox or Mackie stumble upon that ship in the file repository without reading this thread first atleast they may be a little pissed

I did have permission from the person who requested it to release.

And the credits.txt list very clearly list Knox and P-81 in it, who as far as i could see were the ones who made the original models (Ambassador and Phoenix), and as far as i know from what i have been told by several people that i asked, neither of them minded kitbashes as long as credit was given with the model, which i have done VERY clearly in it.

If there is anything else in there uncredited, or i was wrongly informed about permissions, it is purely by accident and i will try and get it pulled from download, but before you start assuming "Why did you make it available for public download without the permission of anyone even the unidentified person who sent you the kitbash?" why dont you actually ask or read the credits in the file before jumpling eh? Im not trying to take credit for anybody elses work whatsoever, and clearly state that all i did was 'bash it.

Just cuz there's no readme doesn't mean they didn't intend it for public release. Some people don't put them in which is a  bit annoying when you have a ship sitting on your disk and no idea where you got it from 2 weeks/months ago. I've got several here that I have no clue about. Heck, I downloaded the D2 mod and it had no credits at all, I had to ask who made what.

Nice ship.  I too am  a big fan of the ambassador-class.

This helps, IMO, to fill the gap between TMP and TNG.
