Becuase of the scale that I paint in, 10/12mm N scale WWII wargames figures and vehicles, 10mm ancients wargame figures, and 6mm Napoleonic wargame figures I use a brush almost exclusively except for using a spray for the primer sometimes although an airbrush would come in handy with the late war German camouflage schemes, As far as the paints go I use  a little of everything. The Apple Barrel/FolkArt/Delta Ceramcoat craft paints for general colors, the Model Master and Tamiya Color acrylics for more specialized military colors, and the Polly Scale Model Railroad colors for vehicle weathering.

I try and use Model Master made her in the USA.  Check this out:

OK here it is, my first build in over 4 years and only my 3rd
in the last 17!

She was built using Polar Lights' 1701 kit, PNT's Scout/DD conversion kit and
JT Graphics decals.

Before anyone asks, I named and numbered her after the sub
I served on in the Navy (a plunger is a type of fish):

All pictures were taken with a 35mm Minolta.

Comments are welcome.

I did use some Tamiya clear paints for the running lights and the
bussard collector.

Thanks,

Dave

Thanks.

It took about 2 months or so, if I remember right.  They were a few weeks
late due to a decal supply problem.

Supposedly he is all caught up now, so hopefully the time will be reduced.
I just ordered the Fed DN, so we will see.  Heaven's Eagle bought some and
was very annoyed by the amount of delay, but they did finally arrive.  If you
order and do have a problem, contact him, he is pretty prompt on the emails.

Thanks,

Dave

Beautiful work. I am currently working on a couple of the MiniFigs N scale Russian KV-1's and a KV-2. When I am done I should post a few pictures.
