Backgrounds

It may be pure hubris but I thought one of you modelers might like a background upon which to display your hard work.

Here is the first of a series I plan on...unless you guys beg me to stop.

looks like you are following the greg martin tutorials.  looks pretty good.  my only real problem with your picture is that it seems to dark,  you might want to try to add some varying brightness to them lens flares  (i did one similar and it can be found  here , you'll see what i mean by the brightness, though mine is probably to bright).

besides that it looks pretty cool.

That is really nice.

I choose to go with the more subdued background because if it to used for models displays then the model should be central and not my backgound.

You're right about the varying brightness. I'm saving that for additional imagaes and inclusion of other objects. I did use that tut in part, but I also used other techniques.


Again, very nice image.

and if u want u can use the UNIVERSE program to make general background pixs. but i started to use mojoworld generator and mojoworld transporter for mine lately.
