All of your recent Cardassians have a certain "organic" feeling to them...  I like it...

Looks a bit too organic, IMHO. One could almost mistake it for a giant space being and not a ship.

for that reason I don't care for this  one. It looks like a shrivled up mass with a cardassian tail.

And you're more than entitled to that viewpoint.  However, these Cardassians are deliberately more organic, in an attempt to break away from the haphazard sticklebrick designs that to me, seem totally at odds with a race with such a purportedly  intense aesthetic regard.  If you look at Terok Nor, or the general architecture of the Cardassians, there is a reliance on more elegant and aesthetically pleasing forms than say the Keldon and the other variants exhibit.  I mean, even their uniforms are almost sculpted.  Besides - and I've made this point before - if it's all fine and dandy for the Federation to have 'discordant' styles (lets mentally compare the Galaxy and the Soveriegn here), why not the other races??
