Heavy Disruptor damage is printed in the manual. They have the ability to "leak" through shields occasionally. The Heavy Phaser charts are below.

Ph-A

Range: 0-1 2-4 5-6 7-10 11-16 17-20 21-24 25-31 32-40

--------8---7---6---5-----5-----4-----3------2-----1
--------7---5---5---4-----4-----4-----3------1-----0
--------6---4---4---4-----4-----3-----2------0-----0
--------5---4---4---4-----3-----3-----1------0-----0
--------4---4---3---3-----2-----2-----0------0-----0

Ph-B

NOTE: This is damage on bare hull. Against shields it is 1/3 of listed.

No. They act just like other Phasers, i.e. they degrade over range. They have a D6 for their die roll so they have 6 "slots" for damage in each range bracket. Phasers sweep across their target and at longer ranges they sometimes hit and sometimes miss.

Ya, I didn't know that SFB Phasers "Sweeped" across their target etheir.  For all these years of SFB I wondered why Phasers (and similar weapons) worked this way.  Makes much better sense now.

More range = Less sweeping
