CoreEdit Progress Report #2
« on: May 04, 2003, 05:50:09 pm »
Hello!

.    Well, CoreEdit is certainly moving ahead.  Today I finished up the DefaultCore code, so now the program can load a core file, copy, paste, delete, and create new ship entries, manipulate all fields (including hardpoints) and save a complete file to disk.  Next I will start work on the DefaultLoadOut part of the program.  Here is a current screen capture:

.    As always the screen capture and CoreEdit webpage can be found at Xhalon Media.

So long for now,

awm3

same here; when can we download that sucker- boy, that really is a work of art.... it looks perfect already.
adding Invalid Ships is probrobly improtant too, so we can see what went wrong immediately and then instantly repair it with this marvelous device...

Hey, I didn't know this, but is it possible to put custom Firing Arcs on Hardpoints too?  That would be so cool if you could.  I thought someone told me that just was not possible.

Hey there awm3:

Glad to see a fellow BCer. I am in Victoria. Its great to see you creating this core editor. From what I see, it is excellent work. Keep it up. We are all thinking about it while we mess around with the core files with Excel
