Topic: Prolific cichlids (Read 1400 times)

I have several aquariums. One has a pair of labrido electro-chromis african cichlids. Along with a pair of blue cichlids from another african region. Well the yellow female has had a baby for a while and I've been keeping an eye on the tank watching it grow up. But today I looked over and found that they had been holding out on me. Not only was there another baby which I knew about but two more have popped up and they are about three weeks old. aall but one is from the yellow mother. That tank (a 30 gallon) will not be big enough for all those aggressive fish. it's swarming with cichlids. But it is interesting to watch.

But wll they take a dry fly enticingly floated on the surface? Or will it be a minnow imitation dragged upstream?

These things would strike a naked brass hook.
