Once upon a time i saw some tutorils on how to texture etc with milkshape, anbody know ehre i can find them? i went through all my links and could not find them. Belive they where on somebody startrek modeling web page. Thanks

Here is the direct link but you have to join gamespy to D/L.  I did this up a while back. It describes how to map the textures.
Making the textures themselves is a whole nother topic    This is real basic. Just showing you how to get started.
A very useful tool is scale up in the top right. You can select the vertexes you want and then scale them by moving the mouse on the map either up down, left or right. To make fine adjustments if you need to get the texture to fit better.
