LOL they don't actually put fish in the salad --- its just the oil to give it flavor

Or flavour as our Brittish friends would say:)

I'd love to try Clam Chowder made in Bostin!

And I will if I ever get up that way...

What is it with Caesar salads now-a-days! I can't seem to get a decent one! They either put on way too much dressing or too little...too much anchovies in the dressing -- or too little. Too salty or not salty enough.

Iceberg lettuce...the other day I ate a caesar salad with iceberg lettuce! Bah what a crime!

Anyone else having troubble finding that one special food that they love --- but can't seem to get done halfway decent anymore?

I'll be honest, I gave up on ceaser salads awhile back. I found that once again , I much prefere a Good blue Cheese Dressing , the more pungent the better. If that isn't available, a nice Shrimp vinegarette serves me fine.

Pun, you'll have to come down to OKC some time so we can do some cooking. actually alot of us need to get together sometime, and Do a Taldren cooking show.

Granted Khallee would be the only one watching, But still.

Stephen

PS. Anchovies in a Ceaser salad? i never knew.

Blue Cheese?!?  EEEEeeeewwwee!  I'd rather eat  MOLD!!!

But on the Caesar Salad thing, maybe it's a West-Coast thing?  I've got two shops out here that make real kickin' Chicken Caesars....  (I've heard that the Caesar Salad is a 'marker' for resturants....  If they can't get that right, you can pretty much expect to be disappointed with the rest of the meal, too)

Also, if anybody ever makes a trip to Atlantic City, stop in and I'll fix one up for you myself, 'cause mine ain't half-bad, either!

Hmm....for some reason this reminds me of a place I had dinner a few nights ago.

Its call "Trapper's" in OKC.

They have the best clam chowder I have ever had in my life there.

The Ceasar Salad wasn't too bad either.  But...anchovies?!

<yuck, sputter, koff, hack!>

Yes a proper Ceasar's salad must have anchovies, and also don't forget the raw egg
The last time I had a real good Ceasars salad, was last year at Ceasars Palace in Las Vegas
