Start with a clean slate after Karnak's post? No.
Rolling made her position clear as well.
There is no drain on this sink, what has been said cannot be forgotten. (not being bullheaded, just can't forget when someone disagrees with me)
Once again this is my position, not the SOS's

<shaking head> I tried, so be it.

I kinda respect it Rolling *ducks* I mean you can't really go and forget something like that... You know what they say about first impressions... You guys gotta give up on that whole "I see were not wanted thing" You started off great and with a lot of steam but once things got a little dicey you bolt? Nope can't have that stick around kill some freds. Hunt some lizards, just don't give up. Nothing good comes out of quiting just regret. If you do decide to leave dispite what you think you are going to miss out big time.

Dammit!!!!! I've been trying to start a flame war since the Dizzy trial and no one will take the bait, then I'm away from the forum for 12 hours and I miss out on a flame war in my name.

First off, great post Skor I love trash talk. Second,  welcome aboard the D2 to all SOS members. You are most definitely welcome. It gets so boring killing the same old feds over and over again ;-) And roms just taste better.

Hey, frakazoid, what's up with you?  It's bad enough my fleet gets led by a girl (cute as she may be), but at least she is a real girl.  You jsut go  around *looking* like a girl!  I'm betting you wear that short tutu just because you've nothing to hide under there!

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. I can't help it I was born with the affliction of a gorgeous body.

As for insulting the little mermaid, I did no such thing, I simply warned her to stay clear of the yeast cultures growing in those hard to wash places, as any Gentle-lizard would do. You see unlike Romulans we do have standard.

As for what's under my tutu, you'll just have to get within range 2 of my ship if you want a peak. Preferably while you are under cloak, so I won't know you are there ;-) Don't mind the throbbing red torpedo that comes from Kroma's BF (Fast Battlecruiser you sicko).

When Day of the Eagle begins I'll definitley be chasing your skirt.

Ahhhh, now we get to the real issue, seems someone else has fallen head over heels for Kroma. Just remember Chuut is the jealous type, and "once you go green you never get clean."

Love,
Kroma XOXOXOXOXOXO

PS, Ignore the cranky old frog, he suffers from BCV envy.

PPS, Looks like we need a new campaign sig. "Great Romulan Turkey Shoot", anyone?

Wow how could I have missed this one?

Looks to me like a new fleet came on, made a big impact and made some older players look a little silly.

Took me a second reading to catch that the origional post was roleplay, but it definately is.  It seems that us vets get a little touchy when ribbed by someone "out of the circle".  If Gwarlock had posted such a thing it might have gotten 3 or 4 responses, but a newbie posts it and we get 4 whole pages of "kill the newbie" and I'm switching to Gorn to kill you".

Well, I'm gonna do something different and go Rom for this one, (time permitting, little busy in R/L now) and try to get to know these guys, especially Cleopatra <wink, wink, nudge nudge>.  Show then why I love the Dyna 2 and its community, at least most of the time.  I would invite those who were planning on going Rom to consider this before switching over due to a knee-jerk reaction to a role-playing post.  If they still want to switch, just one more target for yours truly, or more likely one more reason to die as I haven't flown Rom before on a major server.

EDIT:  Some beer swilling Tony the Tiger posted under me.   The wrong comment is aimed at the cross dressing iguana.

--------

That is just soooooo wrong.

Cleo, WTF have you gotten us into?

Well at least we should kick some arse,  but still, that whole tutu thing is tutu weird.

As for the arse kicking.  did some fleet action with some SOS regs. on the D2.   Man the AI is easy.  This should be fun.  Maybe the server set up can be changed to make it a three way.  That way at least the Gorn and Fed players can fight it out for second place.

I hope Herbert gets it the server up soon.  The SOS is locked and loaded.

Yes this whole thing is starting to sound like a Gorn recruiting thread. Has anyone ever see Gwarlock and Skor in the same room?

Why thank you Mr. Chuut, it will be a pleasure to fly alongside a big cute kitty-kat, I do miss my Rajah...

And Mr. Kroma I am sure that Skor would not be spending his private moments alone with a Gorn, even one in a tutu.

BTW, I need to teach you some cosmetic secrets, we will have that dry skin of yours taken care of in no time

Thank you Goosey!!

NP, (blows kisses as only a Kzin can do, and immediately regrets it as Redfur is looking over shoulder).

Redfur: "Can I borrow that rolling Pin for a second?"

Whack!

SOS guys you may be a little dissapointed in the cloak in D2 as you are still visible. The follow bug is the least of your worries.

CHUUT!!!! What do you think you're doing? Working with them,
but,
but,
but they're Romulan!!!

Maybe we should have a full server in order to give everyone the best inroduction.

Hey Maverick: Now who would do a thing like that bottle of shampoo? (whistles while looking into thin air)

Mellow out Karnak, trash talking is part of the game.   Let them fire up the troops.  Makes a awesome Gorn recruiting thread!

Anyways welcome to SFC, SOS. I  like the fact you came in with a bang, I suspect you may be leaving by one.

One of you wanted to talk to someone that speaks for the GFL?  (Lerch voice "Your Rang?")

It can be a common feature of the GFL for abusive players:

www.gfluniverse.net/dynarules/

Our next serious D3 server will be private.

D2 Server will be public but the same rules will apply and I'm the dyna admin.  If you think SOS won't be able to hold off on the gross name-calling and gross derogatory remarks, feel free to take your fleet's playing time elsewhere.

No problem. I found Skor's post to be tounge-in-cheek humorous. You found it different. I found the threats of banning offensive. You didn't. As a friend of Skor's, I am very sure he meant no offense, just a bit of role playing.
It is your server to do with as you wish, I will offer no comment on that. Does the rest of the GFL see Skor's post as offensive as you do? Do you speak for the GFL as a whole? I would hate to get off on a bad foot with another fleet when we are new here. Maybe our sense of humor does not translate well with the hard core dv2 fleets?
I would love some feedback from other members of the GFL. Did we go overboard? Other than Karnak everyone seemed to get the spirit of the post?!?

~S~ All
I took the post for what it was Roll Play (I Hope)  I say very little I try to let my fling talk for it's self. I will see you on the server

*GDA Casca: You don't seem to say much. I'm sure it's because your tiny lizard brain can't think of much to say. You won't earn much prestige in this server, because I'll be spending so much time blowing you up! Don't be confused when I send the SOS signal each time we fight. I'm just announcing my fleet ID.

Casca is a member of the GFL so when you insult him you are insulted the whole GFL; especially, the SFC3 GFL Klingons.

Give me one good reason why anyone would bother playing with people that like to trash-talk like your fleet.

Antics like that will get you banned off GFL servers.

No insult intended and none taken. Just fun in role play.

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Sounds like fun. Maybe we could have a slumber party and do make overs and have a pillow fight in our PJs. Then we can talk about boys, maybe make a few crank calls to J'inn (send him a pizza with chocodiles on it or something).

Well, I am glad we got all that cleared up.

Since it appears I have some crow to eat I can offer up some dyna play.

If the SOS would like a dyna to try some SFC2, I could use some beta testers next week for the ISC Invasion dyna I am working on.  If interested please signup in the general forum for the campaign:

www.theturtlemoves.co.uk/~iscinvasion/forums

The server settings and supply costs are higher than most dynas so each damage point will hurt, each misplaced T-bomb you will regret and you will pay dearly for those marines that you use up on convoy raids. Plus, you get to play with the ISC which maybe even Roms will like to have on their side as an ally instead of taking PPD hits from their CCZs.

It will be a pleasure to watch your lifepod drift through my gunsights, knowing that you live by my will alone.   Forget rally cries.  The only thing colder than space is the Gorn blood that runs through my veins.  Your fleet will die by fire before my eyes, at my hand.
