Just doing it for the hell of it... a side project so probably take from a few days to a couple weeks to finish, depends on how much time I have, based it on a sketch made by Azel. Gonna start on textures though there are a few things not done with the mesh like well I don't have a clue how to make the front deflector :P

Just showing initial progress on the top saucer, uhhh, I know it looks nothing like the J but since there is really only one canon pic, I decided what the hell, I'll give myself more room. Well, uhhh, top saucer is 75% done, still got details to put on there but have a look.

It looks good Redragon, but have you thought about the possibility that technology had advanced a heck of a lot much in phaser tech that they don't need phaser arrays/strips? Makes me think... What other kinda weaponry this ship has... I'd not give her any Photorps, in the 26th century where Time Travel's possible and common (I.E. That small study ship or whatever it was from "A Matter of Time" (TNG)) and new weapons probably have been made, other than conventional phaser weaponry... If they still call them phasers! *shrug*

Amazing though. But shouldn't we also take into consideration the Enterprise-J viewport window? We saw her fire in anger at Sphere-Builder Ships. And where exactly did we look from when we saw her in action?

Yah, I was kinda iffy on that one, I didn't know what to do with it. Anyhow, I made the windows a lot smaller so it looks like the ship is much bigger but other than that no update yet, I've been busy with the Akira and other projects, probably sometime this week though.
