USS Victory available
« on: March 19, 2004, 06:30:23 pm »
Hi chaps,
I have some more BC models if anyone wants to convert them for SFC.
The new releases are as follows:
USS Kissinger
USS Portsmouth
(both of these are just kitbashes though)
USS Victory - this is an original model of my own design thats already proved to be a big hit

All these can be downloaded here (NIF format only):
http://dynamic3.gamespy.com/%7Ebridgecommander/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=14757&sid=2455838f895b2d2017528d20e9daa0f3

However, if anyone wants these meshes in Max / 3ds format send an email to:
queball08uk (at) hotmail.com

Cheers

Got any pics? Would be interesting to compare designs. I designed this one in January 2003 that started out as a dodgy sketch, although it took me a year to get skilled enough in Max / Milkshape to realise the model.

Its the last one here. Maybe I never put it up for d/l. Can't remember for sure. I think I was saving it for a mod I never finished. But I have 4 ships all textured similar to this one. btw I never saw a pic of your ship in that link. Probably loading slow cause I have dialup.

Queball. Would you allow me the task of making a low poly version of th Victory for Star Trek Armada 1/2?? I believe it would go down rather well in that community as well as this one.

WOW!  This would really make a nice addition too the GAW mod.  I like even like it a little better then a SOV, but I'm not sure what advantages it would have over a SOV.  Is this ship bigger or smaller then a Soverign?

Ooops!   Guess my question was already answered.  :P  This is a very nice ship though.  I really could see this puppy more of a decendent too the Ambassador then the Galaxy/Soverign Design.  Very nice indeed.

@ Major Payne: By all means you can make a low poly version. If you need any speak to me about anything email me.
Glad you guys like the model & design took an age to do.

And yes it's slightly larger than a Sov.

Excellent. Thanks muchly.  Along with the Excalibur, Pathfinder and Titan I would say this is one of the largest ships around, and I need some dreadnought/command battleships for my own mod, and public single ship release.

Hey DM & Majorpayne,
I've just finished work on the 1.1 update to the Victory - which included cleaning up some texture errors I found the other day. If you guys want this improved model before release to use for your ports let me know either by msn or email.

Cheers,

Hmmmm, thanks for the offer Queball, but strictly speaking I should only need a few reference shots of your model as it currnetly is, and use your texture maps for applying to the low poly model. I'll give it a go and see how things are.

Oh, that is one COOL ship!

Do we have an E.T.A. on her launch yet?
