I see right now the Enterprise-J and smaller ships like the Chandley class are the focus of the modelers for the moment, but I was just wondering if anyone shares my keeness for the ol' Yamato class FBB?
Now I have seen some of the newer BB designs out there but they don't do much for me.  The Llamsanlet, the Missouri, and the Zeus are by no means shabby but something about the sleek but predatory lines of the Yamato that just makes me think "This could be the baddest mutha in the quadrant."
I have the "new" skins for the FBB and I got the "improved" textures from SFC.net.  but they just seem tho be missing sumtin'.
Now I'm not asking for a whole new kitbash...well maayyybee.
No really, I was just wondering if anyone could do some higher bit textures.
Incidentally my idea of a reworked Yamato would have two of the FDNH hulls, stretched about 15%, saucer and rollbar done by Moonraker. Connected by a modified Baker FFG weapons pod and the nacelles would have come from DemonRenegade's Babylon FDN.  The texture work would be done by the one, the only, ladies and gentlemen give it up for the hardest working man in modelling.  Give a shout out and a holla to....HIG HURTENFLURST.
But then if I could model I'd do it myself and be making lots of great and terrifying ships that would make Klingons defecate upon themselves and Romulans lick it up.
But that's just me.
