Happy St. Patricks day to all.  I hope you use it as more than an excuse to get polluted and watch a parade!

All of my ancestors came to the US during the potato blight, so I'm about as Irish as you can get.  I take St. Patrick's day off every year, and today is no exception.  I won't be getting polluted until later, tho.

Q: How do you tell when a sick Irishman is getting healthy again?
A: He has the energy to blow the foam off of his 'medicine'!

This doesn't feel like St. Patty's day to me.  I have every window in the house open, I'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and I'm still baking.  This is March?

same here RB, Heck It's 72 degrees outside right now, and I just saw the worker who was replacing our windows leave. Mind you they where all still drafty throughout winter, But now that It's heating up, they fix them.

There is a light frosting of snow falling all day here. The air is crisp, the corned beef was well cooked, and the local bar McCaffreys was filled to capacity. Its good to be married to an Irish woman!

We had our fill, getting lucky tonite.

Snow?  Snow!  I've been getting yelled at left and right to watch what I drink lest the heat dehydrates me.  It's like I'm living in a jungle or something.
