Despite popular opinion, France has been programmed to not surrender immediately. This was tried, but invariably destabilised the matrix of the core commands and caused the other space navies to act erratically and not perform to expected behavior. It should be noted that France will always surrender, and always before the second turn. The simple fact is it was reprogrammed so there is no interaction with them altogether, and yet they perform as expected.

As far as system requirements, if you ran the first version of Space Navy Command after necessary upgrading, you should have no trouble running this version. Those who haven't need to upgrade according to the manual provided. It should be noted that a new piece of improved string has been included with each copy. This will not only provide those without it, but also upgrades those who do. It has been thoroughly tested and comes fully gauranteed. Loss of this vital link invalidates previous guarantee, and any use of substitutes is at the user's risk.

It should also be noted that there are a few minor bugs which have been identified after release, and are at present working on a patch to correct them. Unfortunately, all our testers were too busy playing to help us, so it may be a bit of a wait until we get them under reigns again.

Thank you for your understanding and have fun!

I trust you won't release the DEMO until all the bugs are fixed?  Can't be sending out buggy demos.  You may not have those people's money yet.

Holding costs for non-major systems have been negated with the introduction of the new power supply generated by the minor systems generator. Each navy employs a different type of generator, such as the Foundation using the pedal bike by brig occupants.

As we are still working on the patch, and the foreign editions of SNC-TNI, a demo is still in the works. Snippets of the final bug-free code will be used, and many features won't be present. However, the Onion Traders and Tin Men will be highly featured in this.

What about the Extra Spicy Flaming Ferret Launchers of Doom, the super-Ferret Launcher only available to the United Foundation of Politicians or whatever the heck they're called? And are all the cartels from SNC: Old People in this, too?

I'm afraid I don't quite follow your first question. As for the Old People, we regret that there just wasn't enough time to add them in.

Good Gaming!

Of course there are people right now scanning their game sites looking for reviews on  SNC-TNI and seeing if it should be their next game.

I just wanted to say I have been playing since SNC 1 what is it three or four years ago and have bought SNC 1, 2, old people, and TNI.

But TNI was released half finished  I can't log on to Dooblyverse 3, I can't raise my rank above peon, and most of all, my FLAMING WEASEL doesn't function!  At ALL!!!!!!!!   We have been promised a patch that seems only to be vaporware.

I don't know if it's Profit's fault for delaying a patch that should have been released minutes ago.

But Profit, you have lost one customer. I realize it doesn't mean much to you after all I've only spent a few hundred of my parent's bananas on your products, and a few hundred bananas, i know, has no influence on your business model.

People will of course flame me because this is my first post. WEll, it is. I've always loved the game, read the boards, and had no reason really to post.

Until now.

P.S. my copy of SNC is up for sale on ebay. $10.00 no reserve.

I must say ive taken some joy from my play of SNC:TNI.  Whilst I didnt find it as engaging as its predecessors, and lament the breadth of Old People, the Dummyverse III offers some engaging possiblities... though in other places it breaks from what was most enjoyable about the Dummyverse II.

In the long term, I still hold out faint hope that SNC:Geriatrics Are Welcome will hit the shelves, allowing us to play not only all our beloved groups from Old People.  Ahh, the sight of a Hummdinger Heavy Cruiser with six overloaded Fratricides and a pack of Slingers still warms the heart.  Unfortunately, it appears that relations with Profit are down, this season, which may make future releases problematic.

I paid fifty bananas for SNC:NI, a great game by a great developer, which I enjoyed immensely. I then managed to lose the Bug Spray Can and it's all important Arming-key, either through my own carelessness, or because one of my kids scampered off with it. So I did what any self-respecting consumer who abused their product would do...I called the company for help. What did I get?

The most fascinating and irritating game of toll-call phone button roulette I have ever had to play(and I am a pro). After a long and expensive round of twenty questions with a voice-activated computer who made the frogs in SNC look like               Bud-Weis-Er, I finally managed to reach a live animal being, who cheerfully explained to me that I was, quite frankly, screwed. They cannot give me a new key. If I send in my arming mechanism, they will replace it... but they will not replace the bug spray can, unless I send in the old one. (If I had the bug spray can, I would not be calling, would I? And what good is a new arming mechanism without the bug spray can?)

So now I am ten bananas poorer on a long distance call, and I still HAVE NO MOUTH AND I MUST SCREAM.

Y'know, as much as I would like to support Profit by giving them another fifty bananas, I have a real ethical problem with supporting a company(Profit) that has so little regard for their paying customers. I will never buy another Profit product, I will tell all of my friends never to buy an Profit product, and when the jack-booted soldiers of the DMCA come to my house wanting to know why I downloaded a bootleg copy of SNC:NI from the net, I will punch the Profit representative with them in the mouth. (before I get hauled away for twenty to life for circumventing a copyright device on a fifty dollar piece of aluminum...ah, Mooseland.)

That's dummyverse#3, chummy! You won't gain in rank until you at the very least use the "taunt enemy" feature at least 100 times. I know it's silly, but it is a rule from SNF which we finally implemented.
The Flaming Weasel function needs 2 things to occur before it can be employed:
1-Regular Weasels must be fed the special jalepeno peppers supplied by the Onion Traders. Obviously you haven't traded with them yet.
2- An advanced caretaker and loader person must be in place to use this function.

As for the patch, we must have hard factual evidence of bugs needing to be fixed. We do have a small list; remember this version was released with very few bugs; at least we didn't find many

I'm sorry for all the trouble. The customer service department at Astrofuse isn't quite ready to handle technical helpage. I do, however, have a simple solution, which is very hush-hush, so don't tell the warez hax. (whispers)"Just type ENTER in 'caps', then hit the 'Enter' key" twice in quick succession, while holding the 'F7' key. I'm sorry you lost coinage on the phone bit. Hopefully, Astrofuse will be up to speed in the near future.

BTW, I fully encourage members of our elite beta test team to help those who have minor inquiries here. Not that I'm saying your problems are minor, but some answers can be provided by the above mentioned testers, so we here at Profit can keep at patch building.

Have a nice day, and thank you for the words of praise!

Actually, someone seems to have re-programed France so that they were given "Veto" power over their allies actions.  This was done because it was believed that if the French were given this power they would not have to surrender at all.  In fact, it has given the French a "surrender all" feature.  It is believed that many server admins are going to run "Frenchless" servers just to make the game playable....

Now if I Overload my ferrets will I still have the "myopic zone" in which I can't fire the ferrets?

I was also looking for the system that controls the MYMM (made you miss me) and the MYMMMM (made your miss me, miss me).  It used to be easy in SNC 1 and 2 as well as Old People.  Now I cant find it anywhere.  Also what is this number by AV.  I see in the manual it speaks of Agitated Vinyl.  It seems the closer you get to a ship the more the captain nervously shifts in the captains chair.  This causes the AV number to rise and makes it harder for the targeting computer (located between the captain's legs) to hit the broad side of anything.

This Simplification sure looks like you are just dumbing the French down for the NoObS who would rather play Dumb3: Twitchfest!!!!

The myopic zone is a necessity, unfortunately! I know those little wigglers are great to unload on an unprepared target! But it turned out to be a balance issue in real time.

The MYMM taunts are now a duty of your communications person, and are no longer user triggered. This is yet another feature of the new officer functionality, letting you concentrate on tactics more!

Agitated Vinyl sure gets you on the edge of your seat, doesn't it?   Only experience will rectify this situation!

I have no further comment on the French at this time.

Another bit of news- it has been revealed that to save money, the demo was burned in on the game disk by Astrofuse. Because of this fact, there will be no downloadable demo. Since this is unknown previous, go ahead and share it with your buddies! I gather that's the intention...
