EA Closes Earth & Beyond
Officials from Electronic Arts have announced that they are ending support for massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) Earth & Beyond on 22nd September this year. The game, the last to be produced by the now defunct Westwood Studios, will have been in operation for little more than a year.

The company?s reasons for closing the game are so it can ?focus its resources on future games?. Existing game users will be a contacted by e-mail with more detailed information on how exactly this move will affect them.

I was wondering how that game was awhile back.  anyone here play It?

BTW, this just show's you all again what a great team That Taldren has.  look at Frey's work on Backup servers, Look at ToastyO and Frey's, and Pesty's work on server info and hosting. I personally find this company to be one of the best.

I play E&B for a couple of weeks back when it first came out. The graphics were nice
and it was fun to play at first cause it was new but after awhile it got really boring. Trying
to level up became tedious so I gave it up.

I've actually heard that from a number of players.  Good at first, but after you play for a bit it's just the same old thing over and over.  Probably one of the reasons it's being dropped.

I certainly cant argue with that. I feel sorry for all the people that purchased the game. I mean jeez what a crappy way to treat your customers.
