Its actually Manta Class by Jeff Wallace Romulanized!
After testing out Firesoul's OP+ shiplist I was motivated to download a bunch of Tugs and other ships I have ignored for a long time.
Among those ships I FINALLY downloaded was the Manta Class by Mr. Wallace. A fine ship in its own right but it SCREAMED at me "use P81's D2 Winged Defender textures on it" and I did.
All was good when I was finished I had something that reminded me of a Whipoorwill.
In folklore, the Whipoorwill is believed to fly around dying people hoping to collect or eat the souls of the newly departed. So the name stuck with me.
If Mr. Wallace and P81 don't mind, I will include this in a bunch of Romulan and Klingon retextures I have done that will be hosted soon.
One last thing; this model has a slight problem with the mesh an untextured spot at the rear edge of a "fighter bay".

To all uber-canon, high detail critics out there, all I can say is: "You are right! I can't see all the dents from 10k away!"
