For those of you who know how to make photo-realistic planets, how do you make the textures in Photoshop...im clueless.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, who are these planet making ppl 1st? I have a dyna project for them.

We need hardpointing done OUTSIDE the mesh. We want to see if point defense like phaser 3's will fire from the equator...

I dont have any of the stock models, but i can change the hardpoints easy.

That is done by university students taken by planetary flyby spacecraft. That stuff is directly tangible to the types of studies and educational material NASA is outlined to do. Maybe thats why they are also involved. That sort of study and education is important.

Absolutely.  If it wasn't for this kind of involvement in higher than higher education, this kind of research would be incredibly slowed if done at all... and this is more necessary than people realize; we do really have to understand how at least this solar system works, for our own (safety's) sake, if nothing else!

There doesnt seem to be a whole lot out there as most just grab picturs from the nasa site and use those.
