I would like to give that a read, as I'm sure I have alot of growing up to do even at 33.

Donīt worry about that. Personal growth, and the development of the emotional intelligence, Itīs a lifetime process and everyone can improve it.

I have a book on the new physics by edited by Davies. It is over a decade old but it was state of the art and butts nicely into today's discoveries. And since it is edited by davies it is relatively easy to understand. Beautifully illustrated and as thick as a college text book.
