FTP client?

Hey all. I just wanted to ask what your choice would be for an FTP Client. I'd prefer a free one as I really won't be using it much. I also won't be making much of a site either. I just want an easy way to upload and manage files there. What say you?

Thanks all. I got something called AceFTP going right now. I have also downloaded CuteFTP and may give that a try in the future to see if I like it better.

Hey anytime Bro. I might have to check out that AceFTP that you mentioned. It's just I've been using CuteFTP for along long time.

If you are just moving files to your web space that your ISP has set aside for you and you are running Win2000/WinXP.  Than you can just use Internet Explorer.  I have Win2000 with IE 6 and it works just fine to move file and pictures to my web space.  If you or anyone for that matter has any questions on how to use IE just send me a PM in case I lose track of this thread.  Hope this helps.

My ISP does let me do that. I just don't like having to log in to my account and navigate to the right page. I much prefer to just choose the files I want and have them uploaded in the right place.

I'm not sure how your ISP works but it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to use IE.  Even with these other programs that other people suggested you still have to log into the server space.  All I do is type ftp://username/user in the address bar.  A dialog box will then come up asking for user name and password.  Once the correct username and password is entered, IE will display your ISP space like any other folder.  After login is successful you can bookmark that ftp link so you do not have to log in every single time.  This allows you to access your web server with a one-click process.  After that it is just a matter of copy/paste your files over to the ftp server.  I change my avatars all the time now using IE, it is that easy and it doesn't require you to buy a special program.  Again if anyone has any questions feel free to PM me.  Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, I don't think my ISP is quite that easy. And I have the client working now anyway.
