And here we go out ahead of schedule thanks to the Fact i could not sleep last night or tonight. So with out much more to say here are the pictures and the ships can be found in the SFC 2 ==> Federation Retextures Section as the Miranda+ and Miranda+ Advanced. I of coasre in glee of finishing these ships took the screen shots of the Miranda+ before I added the registry, my bad

The Miranda+
One of the Issues with the old Miranda Class was that with out a forward Deflector the ships top speed was limited. It was also less capable of deflecting larger debris from the ships path which would limit there range and duration from StarBases or other suitable repair stations. StarFleet designed this class to over come those basic limitations on a other wise capable and low cost plateform.

The Miranda+ Advanced
This is the latest in Light cruisers for the Federation it was designed to over come the short coming of the Miranda+ design. this ships offers greater power and speed then its predecessor as well as general improvenments from technology upgrades.

Thats just fantastic! I luv em both! You know... Im a huge collector of TMP era, but I must say that the lines and textures on TNG model there are just superb! I even D/Led that one too.

May I suggest another hybrid sir? A Belknap/Ambassador narcell testbed.My thought being based on what you had mentioned in the Excel/Gal thread.The testbed would have be an older ship so...........I thought Belknap.I really am enjoying your hybrids.Thanks for the great ships sir.

those two little outcuts on the back of the soucer in the housing are used in conjunction as deflectors

Nope, those in all the plans i saw are part of a sensor system no deflectors are listed on the ship.

These two are out now, along with te other variants so it is 4-5 releases in the last 2 weeks. I still have the TMP versionn of the Excalibur to finish then it will be back to the Romulans I started, or KF and Smiley will never forgive me.
