Missing Shuttles
« on: March 12, 2004, 08:14:36 am »
Any one know why I cant see my shuttles anymore after they've launched...?  It makes the "woosh" noise at launch and shows as active on the side bar but nothing is showing on screen...  I've checked my ftrlist.txt and the geometry path is there so who knows...

Anyone????

Oh, SFC:OP with 2.5.5.2 patch....

Thanks in advance

Try changing your desktop OP shortcut's target directory to "C:\Program Files\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates\StarFleetOP.exe".

Because I was too fast on targetting and killing them?

Just Kidding.

Truthfully, as above, probably would be my only guess on how to solve that porblem.

here is a screen shot for the shortcut..

If you have the game installed to the default directory....

make sure that Target says

"C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates\StarfleetOP.exe"

and that Start in says :

"C:\Program Files\Taldren Software Inc\Starfleet Command Orion Pirates"

if these are not set correctly, it will cause shuttle, fighter, and PF problems in game.. and at times cause game to crash.

This is listed in the Readme.txt file since patch 2.5.4.12 until present.... it poped up for you to read during patch install.. Surprising people don't read thost things.

anyhow I hope that this helps.

Hey hey hey... way to go guys... I'm now a happy chap... I think the problem was that nothing was entered in "Start In"..

Anyway, problem solved... Perhaps I should pay more attention to readme's from now on..

Cheers chaps
