A request...
« on: March 04, 2004, 08:01:21 pm »
Anybody got a JPEG of the SFC2:EAW D2 map?  I need the big version, plus planets and starbases, for a project I'm working on.

I thinkg it was a Map editor somewhere. With it you might be able to screenshot the MAP.
IŽll let you know if I find it.

I could've sworn that there was a map online here somewhere that showed every system and starbase on the map.  Anyone remember it?

Something like this? (Thanks to STOC website)

There was a very fine cyberboard map floating around in SFC1 days (the prelim for the dyna's, I believe the map originated from SFCShadow and SFCC's days) and STOC's site is the only place I can think of that still has it on view.

I'm sure I have the cyberboard original file somewhere... but just can't find it.

Similar, but I should clarify.  I need the SFC2 D2 map with its reference points for...something.

If you download the EAW or the OP server kit, the D2 map is there for you with all the planets and bases.  You can open and view it with the included map editor.

You can get either server kit in the Taldren Announcements forum.

Thanks for the link, but I keep getting errors everytime I either try to print and the graphics crash whenever I try to scroll across the map.

Here is the stock OP map:  Stock Webmap

(which is "EarlyMap.mvm" or did you want the "MediumMap.mvm" which roughly approximates the Fed and Emp map...?)

You wouldn't by chance happen to have the Late Map, the one without the gray hexes?

Yup, can do... it's the 28x15 "LateMap.mvm" you are after?  (map linked above is now "LateMap.mvm")
