Well you're already on the way to the series production version as the first pilot has no running lights or nave light, the second has no nav light, only 2 runnning lights and those little ones - they weren't there yet either - it's amazing the small details that changed between the versions really. Very nice attention to detail BTW.

Update finished the top for the most part, trying to do the lower sensor dome. But I only have a few clear shots of it to work with.

These are pretty much spot on for any details you may be missing, though he's a little too literal in missing out windows on the left of the model which were only missing due to budget reasons (ever notice you never saw the left side of the Enterprise in the series?)

Thoes are the ones Im useing, and on the left side thing, that is where they ran the wireing and other things from which is why you never saw the left side or the bottom really.

Did more work and the polys are still within my target range, right now its setting at 26000 polys probably be close to 40 by the time im done so sorry its not gamer friendly. But a question Where should I put the torpedo tubes?, where it shows on the drawings or where it has been shown on the TV shows. Oh and just check the first post to see the updates.

TV shows - kinda like Schtupp's connie is a good placement I think - besides which the FJ ones are in the way of the windows on the B/C decks and they generally look ugly to me. The ship is looking very impresive - will you release this even if it's 40,000 polies - I just wanna look at it in the viewer

BTW one tiny thing I noticed - the neck on your model seems to be the same length at the top and the bottom wheras on the actual model at the saucer it comes to around 36m (full size) while at the engineering hull it is around 24m so it is quite a bit wider at the saucer than at the engineering hull. Just pointing it out as the rest of the model seems so accurate right now.

Progress report hit a snag in the secondary hull mainly the alcove area under the shuttle bay rebuilt that thing quite a few times last night and still cant get a smooth curve. The rest of the ship is mostly done but that one area is giveing me problems. If this was for gameing I would not worry too much about it but since its not, I want a smooth curve DAMN IT!!!   And I dont want to increase the polies any more than nessesary to do it either.
