Any News on the progress of this mightiest of Federation starships?

For those going, "huh?", it's a soon-to-be-ported ship of truly gignatic proportions, making even the Excalibur look "small".

Sounds rather silly. And fanboyish.

But hey, if somebody wants a Fed ship the size of a Borg Cube, I guess they're entitled.

Ok, here are a few wip pics.

And the original concept....

This ship is by no means a god ship......not only is it difficult to menuver, it is venerable to small, quick vessels. This ship is a battlestation built to be mobile. It operates as part of a battlegroup, acting as the fighter carrier for the group.

All right!

Thanks, Raven!

God ship or not...she's immense and powerful still.

I'm really looking forward to flying her and all the rest of these magnificent ships like the Saif and D'Voridex.

BTW, are actually any real God ships made for BC or SFC?

That is an interesting Concept man...sweet
I think that I like the drawing more than the wip...as it is lakking on some of your more finer details..like the pylons to which
I would try to either make the warp pylons wider or add another pair to the nacelles...or make them thicker...similar to the defiant or runnabout.
A ship that size would need the extra strength for warp...or prehaps blend the pylons more to the ship...
Just a suggestion
I enjoy the overall layout of the ship though
It shows a very strong lineage to your other smaller vessels...btw nice touch having the defiant-esq starship in the place of an aero-shuttle or captain's yaht

Why does it look like a Trekked up Galactica??

I mean look at that "saucer" section; it makes me think of the old battlestar, the one that used to be on TV years ago.

And if this thing was part of a battlegroup, what acts as destroyers for it, Sovereigns or Galaxies?  Still, unless there was new technology, the Borg should be able to eat it up in a few minutes... it might scare other races, though.

The Borg could burn it up pretty good......there isnt much the Borg cant stand against. No canon ships are in this mod btw. A battle group consists of many types of vessels.

At any rate, this ship is nothing more than the Romulan Warbird or the Reman Scimitar of the Federation. If you look at the size of the Soveriegn or Galaxy compared with the Constitution it does not seem like much of a stretch. This is the flagship of the Third Fleet, there is only one, and it is NOT the ship that the player plays in in BC2. You will pilot the Scorpion-B. It does, however, play a role of course.

Honestly, I love the design, and the concept...the only thing its lacking is aztecing...something that would make this ship feel much more feddie, IMHO.

That's cool.

Sometimes folks need a break.

Hopefullt that means he'll be refreshed and ready to do some more top-notch work.

This is gonna be one sweet Feddie!

I want to fly her with the Excalibur and Sovereign Classes someday.
