Anyone remember the spam reporting posts?
« on: February 27, 2004, 11:18:17 am »
I'm sick of the spam even though it goes into my spam box, and I'm really sick of these people trying to market prescript drugs on the net when they are U.S. based people.

Can someone post links for reporting these people to the Feds please?

Try this one for the FTC. uce@ftc.gov

For wading through the masses of spam I use a program called MailWasher Pro. While it is more hands on than the others (with auto-delete an option that I don't use) it does an excelent job.

More than 60% of all email is now spam and it is trending upwards.

TB, is it free and will it work with yahoo mail or hotmail?

If the trend is going upwards, the Feds could get a lot of money by going after these jokers aggressively. Then again, we could have more Federal money added to the budget if INS cracked down on employers and fined them like they are supposed to. We go after the employers aggressively, sooner or later the illegals will go home because there will be no job for them as they would be too high a risk financially to an employer.

There is a free version although only the paid Pro version can handle Hotmail or MSN and neither can handle Yahoo at this time. Here is the link if you still want more information.  MailWasher
