nothing major but i cant install it, its asking me to put my CD in drive D: unfortunately my D: is a fantom drive that i use for playing gaves that run s**t off CD.
is there anyway to make it search other drives for the CD (in my case E:) or do i have to make an image of the CD just to patch it?

Can you just change the drive letters? If so, that should solve your problem, then you can just change them back if you want.

The patch looks for the 1st cd drive on your system. In my case E. It thinks that the virtual drive is a real drive. and wants it in that one. If you have sfc3 on a different VD insert it into the D virtual drive and continue from there.
