Stock alert

As you guys and gals know, I manage Leda's money in the market for her. I sold my CACS weeks and weeks ago before it crashed (telecom company). I put her money in generic pharm drug companies. ELAB and IPXL.

Check out IPXL, and rumor control has it that it will split soon. They are out to be a major generic drug player.

I bought for Leda at 16 a share in Jan BTW.

http://finance.messages.yahoo.com/bbs?.mm=FN&action=m&board=7076865&tid=glpc&sid=7076865&mid=5449

When an investor buys 100,000 shares, that is not chump change and is for a reason.

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=IPXL&t=1y

Talk about rise and shine?

http://biz.yahoo.com/djus/040225/1320000886_3.html

For those of you that don't know, TEVA is a major drug player, and is now allied with IPXL

Just thought I would share info. I wish I could back everyone up. Leda did not want me investing in ELAB 3 months ago when they announced govt. approval to manufacture generic Wellbutrin, so I told the loca latina I'll back up a stop loss with my money. Well, she surely does not need my money for that, she has made over 10 dollars a share off ELAB since they won court approval to release generic Wellbutrin, a multibillion dollar a year antidepressant and smoking cessation drug.

NASDAQ down, IPXL? 21.60 (over 2% growth) today.

BTW, being an ex auto tech I was highly interested in TRW's IPO, they went down after they released their stock Feb 3rd, but are at IPO price now with a price of 25.00 a share, 40 cents a share gain today. The reason I wished I had had 2500 to buy 100 shares (plus 7 dollar transaction fee) is that TRW is one of the top ten auto parts manufacturers in the WORLD. Not only do car manufacturers use their parts, I know for a fact having worked for Advance Auto Parts while in college they buy a lot of their products. I do not know what Autozone or Checkers or Pep Boys buy and sell.

Something big is happening, 70 cents after market rise? OMG! And no insider selling? Hmmmmmmm, invest while you can peeps. Darn, was 3 bucks this past May too!

BTW Veteran Affairs buys generic drugs, they are the ones that prescribed me generic Wellbutrin, hence ELAB will be doing business with VA I suppose. At least the taxpayers are not paying premium Glaxo Kline prices, now if only ststes would do that and Medicaid as well?

Nasdaq got slaughtered Monday because of Fed rates, Tuesday IPXL went up, and with this guy's research, I expect them to become another Eon Labs (ELAB). Like Dogmatix said, treat other peoples money as you would your own or your family's. The baby boomers are retiring and they want and will get their health care and PRESCRIPTIONS.

Here are the charts for ELAB and IPXL.

IPXL

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=IPXL&t=5y

ELAB

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=ELAB&t=2y

Sort of like tech stocks were in the 90's but less volatile. The reson for the surge in IPXL and why I think it will be another ELAB? Alliances with TEVA and other drug manufacturing powerhouses, no lawsuits lost YET, and most importantly, heavy research and development. The stock price is still low enough to where most people could buy a block of 100 shares (I personally use Scottrade, nice layout, and 7 dollar transaction fees, though they follow the law, once you buy, no selling for 3 days). I do not believe in shorting (it's a disgusting game that profits from someone else's loss), and I'm not a few days trader unless a stock is going to crash big time. I firmly believe that 2004 will bring good things to IPXL, hopefully for ELAB as well, but there is no way in Hades I can afford 100 shares of ELAB.

I might also add that last week, someone (NOT an insider) bought one million shares of IPXL, and at an avg price of 20 a share, that is NOT chump change!

ELAB had record earnings last year, and 2004 looks to be more promising, expect 60's and 70's this year unless the Feds raise rates or terrorism hits us again, thus causing panic.
