It doesnt work that way, torpedo equipped in Saber,or Sovereign does same amount of damage, the damage depends on power output, but look at it this way on Akira,Galaxy,or Nebula you can mount the same amount of torps and that is 4,2 forward, and 2 back, but you have to pay that in mass and power,so if you equip 4 quantum torps on akira which has a mass limit for weapons 1600 then you will fill 1200 mass with 4 quantum and that leaves you very little mass 4 primary weapons, and also consumes a great deal of power,so you will need a bigger warp core and since the engines section has very limited amount of power, you will have to sacrifice impulse engines and thrusters to fit a corresponding warp core,so thats the way to see it,if you have to then the best out of this three would be galaxy it alows up to 2200 mass in weapons, and it has enough room in engines section to fit a warp core that suits you and some good thrusters and impulse, hope this helps.

Sorwie, I guess I forgot to mention, I dont play SFC3 often, these questions are usually refered to the SFC2OP,
I do know that they all do the same damage, but if a starship has pulse photon torpedoe tubes, and another vessel has a standard photon torpedoe tube, the pulse guy will win, because she can fire more then the other rite

Theres no such thing as pulse photon torpedo tube in SFC3,you just have a standard torpedo tube.

Ok we seem not to understand each other, Im not asking any questions that refer to SFC3 or SFC2 or SFC anything, I'm asking in Star Trek General, the Akira Class has a Pulse System , the Galaxy has a Burst Type 3 Sysytem, what does the Nebula Have??????

The Nebula, since it came out as a cheaper alternative to a Galaxy, probably uses the burst type 3.  It uses the same general parts as a Galaxy.

It's science fiction, it could have a nuclear wessel launcher if the writers wanted it to.

AFAIK The Galaxy and the Nebula have the same 3-burst fire torp launchers, the Galaxy has one fore, 1 aft visible on the studio model and supposedly another rear firing on on the underside of the saucer when it's separated, while the Nebula studio model has 8 fore and 8 aft rather silly IMO but that's what's there. The Akira CGI apparently has 15 in various directions and they would be this more advanced pulse firing system.

Yes it's only a TV show - that don't mean you can make up crap as you go along like the writers do now.
