Topic: Romulan Raptor Class brought to you by myself and LC

Hey guys, here we have the Raptor Class ship from Star Trek Armada 1 and Armada 2 which i have had the upmost pleasure converting these ships for you to use in SFC3.  

There are 2 versions of the model, 1 uses a more traditional Romulan Texture and the other texture is similiar to the Norexan (Valdore) style. Both have the same hardpoints and the same capacity for each systems (ie. weapons, shields etc), the ship is classed as a Cruiser too .

Ok now to the file and downloading bits:

The file comes as a .EXE installer weighing in at 13.3mb, you will have the option to install 256x256, 512x512 and 1024x1024 resolution textures, more information on which textures to install regarding on your video card is explained in the readme. But a short version, Voodoo 3 users can only use 256x256 textures, Geforce and Radeon users can use all resolution modes

You will also have an option to allow a rollback, this means the 3 main files that are replaced during the installation of this mini mod will be backed up and when you choose to uninstall the mini mod the original files will be put back, I suggest you say yes to this to prevent a reinstall of SFC3.

This Mini Mod is also compatible with Taldrens Scimitar addon.

Please do not modify the textures or models in this mod unless you have permission from LC

Please do not attempt to convert these models to any other game format as I beleive they are in the process of being ported to other games, ie. Bridge Commander unless permission from LC has been given.

This ship uses .TGA textures so they will not show up in the model viewer, but they work ingame *looks at image up top*

I've also been told that this file will be available on Dark Drones website, but I was given permission to release the ship beforehand.

Oh, and I am sorry I have not gotten that info to you you needed for the DVoridex yet. It is probably best just to let you use your perview on the matter. Thanks for working on the conversion.

All that I ask of course is that you let me test it out first before you release it......we like to release it on Nightsoft first. I don't know if I asked you, but is it possible to make SFC1/OP and SFC2 versions as well?

No problem, I'm half way through converting the Dvoridex, LC has given me some info on the ship so its all good for the time being, if you want I can post up some pics of it and the weapon loadout etc.

I'll need a slave to test the ship out when its done, I suppose you could be my beta testing slave  *ready's whip* (the whip has your name on it now boy)

With the release, its your ship mate so your the boss  

Unfortunalely I dont have a copy of the previous SFC games, havent been able to find them in my neck of the woods apart from SFC3,  but DM said he'll take care of that so they are covered.
