Let's say I wanted to add more mass for the heavy weapons, or for the shields, whatever? Those are the primary things I need to know...

Go into C:/Program Files on your computer

Open the Activision folder then the sfc3 folder

Now open the Assets folder

There should be a folder called Common Settings go into that folder

You will notice things labeled Shielditems, Weaponitems, etc.

Open them with notepad and you can edit things like cost, damage, and mass

No need to just refit the ships the way you want I have done several variations. I wished that was in Interplays versions.

EagleEye Software Group and Taldren released Shipedit and Shipedit OP for SFC titles from Interplay.. extremely easy to use... much easier than using excel or notepad to edit files currently...

as for SFC 3.. well back to conventional methods...
