Computer's been down, but now I'm back :)

Sorry for the delay on the Dauntless, and to anyone who has been trying to reach me. Tax refund time means upgrade time My puter, the one I do everything on, has onboard graphics...until now. I installed a nVidia g-force MX-440 PCI card with 64mb memory. Only thing is, the instuction book didn't say how to work around the little incompality problem. Said to go to the computer manuf. website. Took forever to figure it out, but I did it and it works great! I also bought Freelancer to play on my new card, and the graphics are sooooo much better. Now I'll be able to build a model with higher polies without the damn thing freezing up on me.

Anyway, wanted to let you know I was back and will begin finishing the Dauntless textures so we can all fly her.

Think that I may be doing this in a couple of months myself... thinking of seriously switching over on the texturing machine from Win95 OSR2 (after I back the installation up) to either Win98FE or Win2k (most likely Win2k)..

Just need to be able to run glow tools and some of the other stuff on that system, and there's like zero support trying to get anyone rewriting DX 8.1 and above stuff for DX 8.0 (you'd think that it'd not be that much of an issue, but then, I'm not a programmer)..

Anyways, glad to see you up again.. need to bug you one of these days and see if you know of any way to remove some polies from a mesh easily.. (getting some webbing issues on my RD still and need to remove the excess polies so that stops before release)..
