m looking for pics of fed ships like this one: http://forums.taldren.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=261365&page=2&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1, i don't know if the books are still available or not and sometime there not available outside the usa, all i want are the pics from these books or the books if someone have them for sale at low price (ebay might have them but the price might be high).

Hi Don,

Most of the schematics like this are from the Jackill Tech Manuals, a series of 3 books detailing Movie-Enterprise/Reliant style starships, Excelsior-style starships, and Oberth-style support ships. I have been looking for them ever since I let them slip through my fingers at my first ST convention, and still no luck.

Mind you, instead of buying the Jackills, I bought the Captain's (Doomsday) Edition of Star Fleet Battles Basic Set. Even now, I think I made the right choice.

This site has all the schematics along these lines and a lot more besides. Have fun. I did.

i know about that site but some stuff are not official startrek ship, m only interested in the movie eras of the federation, can you show me stuff found in your book?

The picture I used in that thread is from Ships of the Starfleet under the same section as the Belknap (being a minor variant) all the ships from SOTSF and Jackhills are on Shipschematics you just have to know how to look for them. First go to the federation movie era section and then, to the right of each ship under 'Source' the ones that have Bibliography written, these will be the official designs or ships from the tech manuals, SOTSF, Jackhills books and various other books and productions over the years. Some however seem to be the personal designs of the site author but they're the exception...
