A while ago, Rage recruited me to retex a few ships for him. This ship is his concept,retexed by me. I'll let him explain the rest.

I'd like more Alternative / Mirror Ships added to the thread I just posted above. I'd love to see what else Rage has! Beautiful in its own dark way. Please feel free to design & submit more TNG / DS9 / Voy era "Mirror (Terran Empire) Universe" vessels to my groups. This ship is only one of several I have in my head. It's part of a mod I wish to do called DARK EMPIRES. This mod is something that I have been thinking about for some time now and I'm finally ready to do it. The biggest goal with this mod is not only to replace all the ships for every race, but to give the pirate cartels their own unique vessels. The trick in doing this is that this is an alternate universe where nothing is as you know them to be. Almost all the ships required will need to be retextured, kitbashed or built from scratch. After the next OP patch, I will begin editing the shiplist among other things to reflect the changes this universe requires. Obviously this is a lot to do in order to make this a successful mod and for it to be completed to be put up for download. As you can see, The DuctTapeWonder has retextured Mind-Blip's U.S.S. Soruun A - Soruun MKII Class Heavy Cruiser and turned it into the O.S.S. Merciless. This is only one ship (and it looks pretty cool too), but it is a great start as each race will need 18-21 ships each (BB-FF and everything in between). Hey Cool. I have some ideas for Alternate Universe Feds. I have some ideas of making some ships based on SFB design but look different then what Star Trek and SFB originally had. That way, no idoits can sue me just for making cannon models like they did to Ghost with his great site of TOS ships.

Anyway, might take a while. I'm still new to 3D modeling and I'm trying to learn Milkshape. Texturing and Hardpoints are something I'm having difficulties figuring out.

I'd say the Hellbender would qualify as a Mirror-Universe "Terran Empire"-type design.

All Mackie has to do now is add the Sword/Earth logo, & he's in business.
