Problems installing SFC2
« on: February 09, 2004, 07:31:17 am »
Hi all:

I was given a computer and had to install xp on it.  I cannot install SFC2 over the XP.  It is giving me a 32 bit install file error.

Any ideas?

thanks,

Obmanta

Hey,

I would guess it has something to do with your XP installation.  I am running XP and I didn't have any problems installing SFC2.  It is strange that you would get that type of error.  Have you tried installing OP?  Is your SFC2 CD ok? (i.e. can you install the game on another computer?)

Sorry this isn't more help.  Hopefully someone else on here will have some more info for you.  Good luck with it!

Thanks Jim for your reply.  I was also considering the xp install, but the xp was installed with a format of the hard drive to start with and xp pro version.

Any other idesa out there?

What was the drive set up with? FAT32 or NTFS?
