Ok put it this way, The only ship's class I know for a fact is the BOP, and even now Im wondering if I might be misinformed so the BOP how many are there

What are there class specification are all the BOP from D12 to D13 frigates, destroyers, what???

the brel, is it a war destroyer or CL

Kvort is it a CA or BC
Dtai is that a BC or DN

and my fav, the Ktinga is this ship a lightcruiser or a BC or CA  because Uhura says in ST6, klingon battlecruiser off the starboard bow, and the D7????, ohhhh yeah the VorCHa what is this one DN because its so fondly compared to our or the fed ambassador class or its it a BC neghvar and kpak i know of thanks guys

The D13 doesn't exist in canon to my knowledge. The K'Pak and D'Tai DEFINETLY don't exist - the D'Tai being the 700m long BOPs from a TNG episode who's name I forgot - it's frankly ridiculous to scale the BOP even to the K'vort size (about 300m) let alone the D'Tais which dwarfed the Ent-D and were nearly the size of a D'Deridex in the episode. The B'rel has only been seen once and it was 300m long like the K'vort (it was specifically the episode 'Little Rascals' - TNG) The D12 is the only small BOP and was only mentioned as such in Generations.

The K'T'inga and D7 (Klolode) are two very different ships that have roughly the same proportions - one is NOT a refit of the other - they are not the same ship, the K'T'inga is quite a bit shorter and major structures have very different shapes to the D7. They are both battlecruisers for their era which was the TOS/TMP era - not TNG. By TNG it is likely they would have been relegated to light cruiser status and the D7 really should be retired if they aren't.

The Vorcha' has only ever been described as an 'Attack Cruiser' once or twice in TNG though really battlecruiser is fine as it is inbetween the Ambassador and Galaxy in terms of size and firepower. The Neg'var is whatever you want it to be really - battlecruiser, dreadnought, battleship - I'd choose the last as there doesn't seem to be anything bigger in the fleet unless we count non-canon ships like the absolutely humungous Deathbird.

That's my stance on the Klingon mess - flagrantly ignoreing as I do the DITL.org site as it's complete and utter bullcrap as it makes ludicrous assumptions about non-canon ships.

www.ex-astris-scientia.org is the one I would recommend the most as Bernd Schneider uses logic and reason to figure out things like ship sizes and details and to resolve continuity issues. Plus he's german so he's got to be good at what he does right? Seriously though it is a much more critical and well thought out site than DITL.org which follows the usual fandom ideas like allowing the existence of a 700m BOP or accepting at face value the idea that the Elkins class could actually function with literally inflated Enterprise class engines and gigantically oversized runabout warp-nacelle pylons.

Well, I like them cause they have info I can't find anywhere else...and ones "ludicrous assumptions" are anothers speculation. It seems that all they really do is try to fill in the gaps that are left in all the tech. manuals. I know...Do your own site with  your speculation. I wonder how many people would think it was BS?

Anyway, I usually look at the D7 as TOS, the K'Tinga as TMP and the Vorcha as TNG...as for the BoPs, I see the Brel as more of a police role, while the Kvort is a front line warship.

See, that's my speculation, which will probably be labeled as BS, but, frankly, I don't give a flying rats behind...it works for me, so...

I see, ok what about Dreadnoughts for TNG Klingons, If I do use VorCha as a BC, and BOPs as Frigates to Destroyer, and Ktinga as a CL, I need something for a DN or BB, a NeghVar is kewl, but isnt there supposed to be only one in her class

Simple. The Voodieh, or whatever it was called. Its basically just like a Neghvar but a little different, it was from All Good Things

yup, that was exactly what i was thinking, it comes the same as the neghvar but without the huge disruptor cannons below the ship, thanks man, all i need now is a decent vorcha, which is proving hard to find

  I don't have the know-how to create a site but that does not mean I cannot make my own speculations and further it does not mean that I cannot criticise the work of others. I do not label others' theories as bollax simply because I don't agree withh them. There's a lot on EAS I don't agree with but I don't think it's bollax, a lot of the speculation Atrahasis came up with I didn't agree with, it is just that IMO the guy at DITL's assumptions are often unreasonable ones. That is my view and it is one I am free to give as long as the mods and admin of this board say so. BTW why so offended Sandman? You friends with the guy at DITL or something? Anyway - chill out dude, it's not like I insulted your family or something is it?

Sorry dude, wasn't getting offended....why I used the   's. I was merely pointing out that  all the speculation out there is just that. I read the stuff there, but mostly I just go for the specs...one of these days I'll break down and by a couple tech manuals. Forgive me if it sounded...gruff, I guess...I have a problem making myself clear when I'm typing; I use the 2 finger shuffle and my thoughts are way down the road before I finish 2 words. And proofreading a post before posting only works for spelling (I hope  ) as  I  know what I'm saying so it makes sense...if that makes sense? Anyway, I wasn't picking fight or anything...just wanting to convey that unless you're playing on a server, you can use the ships how you want, as with the Klingons that is a major problem with them, hard to figure out where each class goes.

D7/ktinga are battlecruisers but of different era's. Biggest ships of their time,  basicly. A ktinga in DS9 or TNG era would probably be a cruiser or heavyc ruiser. The battle cruiser would be a vorcha and the DN a neghvar. As for the d'tai, that was a rediculously overscaled BOP from "Defector" TNG. Ought to simply be ignored as a scale  mistake.

The brel, is probably a destroyer, and the Kvort would be a heavy cruiser. After all it took 3 to take down the 1701-D and one was destroyed. Heavy cruiser would fit.

i kind of used that site for a while as a star trek bible, until I saw he gave Cardassian torpdoes, and etc..., then I just use it for fun to quickly look up something not that important, but when it came to the klingons, I felt it was better with the one you suggested, makes more sense, thanks anyway cookoo bird lol lol
