CD Key in use - help!

I have been playing SFC3 online for the first time this week and having great fun.  Unfortunately, having logged off to put the kids to bed, when I logged back in it says my CD Key is already in use.  Can anyone help me overcome this issue?

contact the server admin and have them reboot the server, that should release your CD Key

Thanks - how do i identify who the server admin is?  Is this gamespy or the person whose universe I was playing in?
