A year or so ago, I saw on the back of the now defunct STAR TREK The Magazine an advertisment for the Unobtainium TOS Enterprise models.  They were supposed to be about 30" long and were very expensive to ridiculous depending on how it was built.  They were only available as built up models.  I believe the lit ones were on the order of $1200 or so.

Sizewise, Here are the specs based on the dimensions from my original "official" TMP blueprint set.

Overall
Length   34.29"
Draft     8.02"
Beam     15.94"

Primary Hull
Length           16.46"
Draft (height)   3.70"
Beam (diameter) 15.94"

Secondary Hull
Length           13.61"
Draft (height)   5.34"
Beam (diameter)   3.70"

Engine Nacells
Length           17.41"
Draft (height)   2.06"
Beam (width)     1.42"

OH,    MY,    GOD! !

I had better get busy designing that lighting kit now.

So now that we know that this thing is absolutely HUGE we can plan on how and where we are going to put it.  I seriously doubt that there will be any 1/350 kits of the B, C, or D but This is going to be the most sought after and highly prized kit ever made.  The only thing that would be as good would be the TOS Enterprise and it won't be this big.  My vote for the next 1/350 kit after the refit "E" would either be a kit of the Reliant, or a Klingon D7 (movie version please).  I suspect that if the molds and parts were done and planed for ahead of time, there would be quite a number of parts that would be common to both the refit Enterprise and the Reliant. Thus tooling would be a bit cheaper for the Reliant, and thus less development time as well I would presume.

I used to build models myself.  Time and space have worked against me for the continuation of my hobby.  Right now we live in an appartment.  Hopefully when I get a house.    I cant wait to see this and hope that more Enterprise Models come out from A-E!

Well as to the A Enterprise, it is the same as the TMP Enterprise physically. Just some painting detail differences.

The rest though are probably going to be way too big.  (at least in the 1/350 scale)  I suspect the D would be far larger than the proposed refit Enterprise even in 1/1000 scale.  IIRC the AMT TNG Enterprise was only 1/1400 scale.  So make it half again bigger.  As to the B Enterprise, I think the AMT kit (which was one of the better more detailed kits) was 1/1000 scale along with the Excelsior.  So they would fit with the current TOS Enterprise kit just fine.

No idea what the scale of the one I have is, but it is about 20 inches long from main saucer front to the end of the nacelles.
The three little 'babies' are about 7inches long, and all on one base.

Still have one I used to call my SFB flagship, the hornet (these kits had the names of other federation ships.)
