Winter-een-mas is a holiday created by a web comic. The basic theory behind it is that the last week of january (25th-31st) be spent honoring games, gamers, and most importantly game developers.
It's not exactly a popular holiday yet, but its an interesting concept. It gives us a chance to give thanks and praise not only to those people responsible for bringing us the games that we love, but also the entire geek subculture which leads to the popularity of these games.
In any event, its been some time since I've been around here, but just in case no one else did, I'd like to stop and wish everyone at taldren a happy Winter-een-mass.
