USS Blackhawk - Chandley Class.. Released!!!

Ok, as requested by Klingon Fanatic, here is the Blackhawk, "The Fightin' 23"....

It's a mini retex of Pataflafla's Chandley which I think was bashed from P81's Chandley.. It's all in the notes anyway. I am doing a complete remodel / retex of this using Khaliban bits so this will be version 1. 1024 res textures on this one for clarity but I think I might be a little off on the rear hardpoints.....

Enjoy...!!!!

Awesome! Thank You DestinyCalling!

When I was heavy into TNG, I used to champion the idea that the Chandleys were around as second line troop transports in the Dominion War. Man I love this ship

D/l now.

DestinyCalling,

Let me know if you want me to post the Hospital Chandley at SFU or hold off and let you add it to your 'To do' list.

I was only planning on adding the rear textures to the hospital Chandley. I will also update the read Me file.

UPDATE:

http://klingonfanatic.20m.com/images/chandley_class_hospital_version.jpg

Updated the lighting on the wings and I left the impulse engine color red. Read me file is updated as well.

I figure that the rear shuttle bay could be for supplies and personnel with the forward shuttle bays being for patients that can not be transported for whatever tactical reason.  The object being you want to be able to direct the traffic coming into the hospital. Nothing quite like redundancy and back up systems. Imagine what all those troop transporters and cargo transporters could do in addition to all the Medical shuttles for a planet that had a catastrophe or a fleet that just got hit hard! As far as armament is concerned, Starfleet wants to defend its patients and its investment. With the loss of several saucer mounted phaser banks, I really don't see Starfleet skimping on removing the torpedo tubes. They are  a powerful deterrant to most aggressors. Afterall, this is a very versitile, multi-mission capable platform that could be easily converted to another use such as a fire support vessel or even a strike carrier...
