Milkshape....!!!

Anyone here know why I'm suddenly getting textureless models when I export from Milkshape????

Are you assigning the Textures too parts of the model?  Also, the plugin for Milkshape will only support your textures in 256 X 256.  Check your textures too see if you have them at this size.  It kinda sucks because I wish the MS plugins allow you too make any Texture size you want.

that 256x256 texture thing is wrong i use Milkshape 3d 1.70 and the R4 Plugins and have 512x512 taxture for my Predator and Avenger, maybe this size limit was with older plugins and the new version is mirroring the mesh or texture in the export but you only need to mirror the whole mesh with mirroring left -> right

and the normal SFC models only support bmp-files no tgas or jpgs

if you do a kitbash from many ship just copy the texture of the ship and past it into your new ship, example i use a constitution class (enterprise)secondary hull and miranda class (reliant) torpedo and mega phaser, i copy the texture of what i keep of each ship and past them to the new ship, since the new ship in his file don't have the texture with it when you export it into a .mod format.

Hey Terradyhne, where is this new plugin?  I would love to make my models with 500 X 500 textures instead of 256 X 256.  Do you have a link on where you got the Plugin?

Got it working ok again..... Using the R4 plugins not the next gen ones....

For some reason I can't get  the newest plugins to work right.  But the release right before that works fine. Anyone come across that problem?

That's exactly the problem I was having.. Hence the original post... It seems that the R4 plugins seem to work better than the "Next Gen" ones... I rolled back to using the R4 ones and everythins fine now....

he he the next gen plugins are older, the R4 ones ore the newest i think
