The man you want to talk to is Ancient Angel. Im sure he will post in here if he stops by, but if not, his site is at www.nightsoftware.com under Ancient Angel. There are some WIPs but i havent heard any releases as of yet

This thread is unfortunatly moot now. I just read that he will not be releasing it for SFC. I do know of Valkyries released for SFC. But I need a few other things...

Well nothing is out of the question right now as for a Robotech-Macross Mod. But I am not going to move forward on anything until there is a group of people willing to put the time in to get one done. So for the time being my personal project is on hold for SFC3 & StarShatter while FreeSpace is still up in the air.

the last time I talked to Lord Bile he express really no intrest in the project.

The point that I am trying to make is I do not mind doing a mod all by myself but the projected finish time of said conversion would run over two years. By the time I do all of the models, texture work, web-site, web maintaince and extra graphic work needed for it and keep up with the forums. Well it just plainly becomes another full time job and the only way get around any of this is to build some sort of team and split the work up.

Until a team can be built to mod any SFC game engine I just can not see pouring in 1-3hrs a day into a project that may take over a two years to complete. While working on a game engine that does not totally fit with what is needed for it to give it that Robotech-Macross type feal to the mod.  In other words the lack of missiles in SFC3 and the ship size issues with SFC1 to OP.
