Topic: Scripting??? how to change....

i got a question to u all u have some expierience with scripting. as far as i understand it is possible to make mission scripts for orion pirates.
i just want to know what are the tools that i need to do that and where to get them.
heres what i try to do: i want to change the ships in the mission from their cff-fca-fbch,fdnh name to only the  main classes:ff,dd,cl,ncl.ca,bc,dn,bb etc. no friekin car , cai , bcg crap.
the ships in the missions must be changable.

could someone please tell me how to do that?

btw: update: i finished to revisit al my old retextures and im currently working an thu11s firehawk and the guam through deck carrier. just want u all to know that ull see some pics within the following days.

Your best bet would be to talk to TracyG in the scripting forums but to make any missions at all you will need the Taldren plugins and C++
