Seeing KF's starbase and stardock WIP thread reminded of something I wanted to suggest to modelers:

The space station from the "Planet of the Apes" remake looks remarkably like a Federation/Starfleet design.

I think it would make a neat addition to SFC...

I cant really recall what it looks like but I do remember that it was pretty cool....

Yeah, it was called Oberon and it looked vaguely like DS9 if it was painted white and two-thitds cut out so that only one vertical pylon was left. That would be the general shape and color.

Man, I'm coming up with zip on Oberon pics.

Somebody with the DVD and a player in their computer would solve the problem.

My computer at home is sans a DVD player, drat!
