I'm glad I've had a little time again for my hobby. What do you think of the Armoured look?

I really like the concept of the irregular deflector grid
I makes the ship have character
The new textures and mesh tweaking here and there will
breath new life to this already awesome model

I was thinking that you have another Fed that has a secondary hull
that is dorsally place vs the regular ventral postion...Could you make a version
with the secondary hull (stardrive) in its classic position???

Already planned, want to flesh out and test new textures on the Kong, then use the bits to build a new series of ships

I've made the textures but haven't mapped them yet. I have a sudden rush order for an animation so fun is on the shelf....but I have the most interesting computer problem. 3 hours with a Rogers technician and we could not get my computer to access the internet. We checked all drivers, reinstalled both ethernet cards, tried a usb modem, tried another modem, virus and ad scanned and still it says the connection is fine but no joy when it comes to actually using it. Nothing seems to be wrong, it just doesn't work! The only posibility is that my networking drivers are corrupted or (God forbid) hacked and worm-ridden. So in order to get everything working I'm going to rebuild my system from the ground up, starting with a new hard drive (I've been meaning to get a 120 gig one) My (real) project is due Friday so I'll rebuild on the weekend and should be up next week. The only real [bleep] I have is that I'll have to reinstall about 40 windows patches, video, audio, and graphic drivers.

More soon, I'm building this ship as parts so I can make several different configurations.

News???

Just rebuilding my system....booted up this morning and was greeted by ........windows ME????? my old operating system which I upgraded from .......most of my files are on my D drive which ME doesn't believe in or support because it's too big. Will begin rebuild on sunday due to valentines day (Funny thing , my wife doesn't want me messing with the computer on saturday ) Should be up and running by wednesday at the latest. Luckily I didn't lose all 26 episodes of 'Ghost In The Shell' which were on my C drive!

 Back up soon!

Luckily I still have all the "bits" so once I'm up I can go nuts on her!
